This new olive variety comes from the Todolivo Genetic Improvement Program. It was naturally developed in 2008 through cross-pollination between Arbosana I-43® x Koroneiki I-38®.
A variety of low to medium vigor, with an open growth habit and short internodes. With a low wood structure, it maintains a large amount of productive shoots throughout the tree. Its morphological structure makes it ideal for hedge cultivation, allowing the tree to be easily trained and maintained in a false palmette form, facilitating row closure and the rapid formation of the hedge.
It shows high rusticity and strong adaptability to a wide range of soils and climatic conditions.
It has early, high, and consistent productivity, both under irrigation and dry farming conditions. In dry farming, it shows good drought resistance thanks to its powerful root system and leathery leaves, which reduce water loss through transpiration.
It has a high oil yield, especially in early harvests, when it achieves the greatest productive differences compared to other varieties.
The olives show high extractability during milling.
It is resistant to peacock spot, tolerant to Verticillium, and slightly tolerant to olive knot disease.
