This new olive variety comes from the Todolivo Genetic Improvement Program. It was naturally developed in 2008 through cross-pollination between Arbosana I-43® x Koroneiki I-38®.
A small-sized variety with low vigor and an upright, compact, and weeping growth habit. After pruning, it produces very little wood and highly productive shoots. Due to its small size, it can be adapted to different planting densities and agronomic systems.
Its productivity is high and consistent. It has a high leaf-to-wood ratio, meaning that with few structural woody branches it concentrates a large amount of productive foliage, making its management simple and cost-effective.
Its oil yield is high and its ripening earliness is medium (late October/early November), allowing for early production of extra virgin olive oils to take advantage of high prices at the beginning of the season.
It is resistant to peacock spot, tolerant to Verticillium, and slightly tolerant to olive knot disease.
It shows optimal agronomic performance under both irrigated and dry farming conditions.
